Dream of The Mansion

During the resort the meetings were insightful, the fellowship exceptional and the food first class. We enjoyed a lovely, pastoral view of the rolling, green hills from our room, in particular the view of a stately red-brick mansion that sat in a secluded forest nearby. I knew we’d visit there soon.

One evening we strolled through an open air restaurant which many Israelis flocked to. Sure enough, among the flagrantly non-kosher entrees, Hebrew was heard more than English. A Russian magnate wearing a Roman toga appeared with his concubine and her children. Every unclean thing was exposed yet flaunted.

We did have some divine encounters with young Israelis and rejoiced to see how quickly the new believers advanced in faith and could now share the message of hope with a boldness that was unstoppable. Lines were drawn on the ground by a finger that had no hand while most partygoers remained unfazed, continuing to gorge on exotic, forbidden delicacies.

Heartbroken but not surprised, we returned to the resort where we sensed more deeply the weight of daily events which pointed so clearly to the folding of the earth. Even the stars were dimmed before the Great War.

The next evening while observing the mansion, I sensed it was time. So we drew our coats and phones from the car trunk, along with our miniature donkey which now accompanied us everywhere. Our phone clocks were no longer in sync as Richard’s had advanced forward, causing his days to become shorter than mine. Somehow I knew that the same thing happened to Jenny and her husband.

We drove to the site to explore the grounds, not assuming we’d actually be invited inside. We noticed that chairs were arranged in the backyard for an upcoming event for royalty. Meanwhile I delighted in exploring the endless treasures in the nearby greenhouse.

When the elderly proprietor kindly invited us in for dinner, how could we refuse? A feast with roast lamb was served, which Richard inhaled and was suddenly gone. In his place sat Ariel, but not in person. He appeared digitally to negotiate with the proprietor and then disappeared. I remember saying that leaving the cities for hiding places like these would be imperative in the coming days…

Dream 18 & 51

In different scenarios during last night’s dream, we were either at the airport or preparing to board a ship to Australia. The two buses that took us to both vehicles were numbered 18 and 51. So of course when I awoke, I pondered Psalms 18 and 51, but then wondered if this refers to the year 1851.

Sure enough, that year was very significant in Australian history:

But what does this have to do with our journey?
