830,000 households in Israel reported economic distress, 131,000 more families than before the Covid pandemic.
75 percent of the pension-aged Israelis live in de facto poverty, among them, many of the nearly 150,000 Holocaust survivors in Israel today.
We’ve been blessed to be able to reach out in love to many people in a variety of ways. We particularly seek to help widows and orphans who are in need.
G-d makes it clear throughout the Scriptures that He cares deeply for the poor, orphans, and widows.
“Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”
(James 1:27)
Over 600,000 Jewish orphans and widows live in Israel today, approximately 11.7% of the total population.
We deliver boxed and prepared food to Jewish families in need.
