While The Nations

While the Nations

While the nations eat & sleep & swim
Delighting in their every whim
Fashion shopping without a care
Distractions abounding everywhere

While the nation of Israel fights for its life
In the nations it seems the only strife
Is what shall I wear to the latest gym
My coffee’s cold and I need a trim

While in the nations I told a cashier
I’m flying into the atmosphere
Home to Israel unless there’s war
To which she asked whatever for

So I asked if she knew we’d been attacked
She hadn’t heard but considered the fact
That we’re to blame for everything
Although we’re the size of a piece of string

Compared to the size of a huge doorframe
And yet we’re always the one to blame
You don’t like the weather?
That’s our fault too!
While the nations rage against the Jew

When Haman’s wife said don’t fight Jews
Or else you’ll always completely lose
The battle belongs to the L-rd our G-d
The One who did wonders with Aaron’s rod

So we trust in Him as we fly home
Knowing for sure wherever we roam
He’ll bring us back and shine His face
On us and all who embrace His grace!
