A Poem from Daniel 11

Everything seems so bright and so clear

The air, the sky and all we hold dear

Yet we’re slipping into a new regime

Where confinement at home is the common theme

Life once lived on the prairies of old

Has now been replaced by Zoom and untold

Platforms of media, meant to dumb down

The searching heart and the bridal gown

Of the ones who are called to see and to hear

Oh just ignore it and have another beer

But war is a cover for clandestine acts

When you know what’s coming it’s hard to relax

And pretend the abomination of nations

That leads to the desolation of creation

Will just go away if you leave it alone

A missile is coming and so is a drone

Yet our G-d is sovereign and rules from His throne!

Daniel 11:30-35
