A Dream of the Golan

I saw a scattering of images of the people who’d settled the mountains of Israel throughout history, thus fulfilling Ezekiel 36:24-28 with its spiritual kind of heart surgery.

We entered a bunker from past wars and wept inside as we heard about the demise of an honored hero who’d rescued so many in this region. Other intercessors had been on that same site to weep. The stones and even the boulders cried out from the Land after the subsequent explosions that snuffed out the lives of so many of our treasured warriors. Yet the hardness to the goodness of G-d was beginning to dissipate as the years of rebuilding followed by destruction followed by a new form of restoration covered the region.

Then appeared a clear image of a ploughing of the Land that finally broke apart the infertile ground with such power that the blossoming of the region’s dormant fruitfulness would at last receive true healing. We watched in amazement as the healing was poured out like drink offerings of new wine and fresh oil over all the Land from North to South.

After another explosion in the region that affected Syria, Spain and Russia, more weeping on the Land ensued. Yet this time the weeping evolved into songs of joy!

I entered a shop where a jeweler named David created the most exquisite pieces of art. I tried on what I thought was a necklace but were actually earrings of feathers and turquoise stones that linked under the chin. David’s shop had also been demolished but was recently rebuilt with high walls that were filled to the ceiling with clocks of the centuries, each ticking and talking of the history of this region that I was told to focus on.

Just before awakening I heard, “It’s all about the Golan.” And thus another confirmation of this February’s PAJ was given…
