Dream of The Conference

This has got to be a new world record – sixteen times I awoke and returned to the same dream!

I was in the German Colony of Jerusalem near Sukkat Hallel, staying with friends after attending a meeting with believers from many nations. Afterwards I’d planned to ride my bike or catch a bus to my village near Tiberias, retrieve my luggage and fly to the conference in Ohio.
But the rainstorm was so fierce that one could barely walk in it and the streets had become rivers of water. Plus I lost my left sandal, making it nearly impossible to get around! However, I kept trying and each time I prepared to go north for my bag, I awoke.

The last time something different happened. Richard’s sister, Rosemary came from Texas to pick up my bag and then bring me from Jerusalem to the airport.

While waiting for her arrival, I watched smoke billowing up from the Kidron Valley as the waves of water lapped at the thresholds of the doors of nearby homes. A man from Kenya gave me food for my journey, mainly nuts of many varieties that wouldn’t spoil or be detected.

Then I finally realized what some of the anxiety over this trip was caused by – trying to evade AI.

And when I finally awoke for the last time, I knew to share these dreams:
