Dream of Wells
From overhead I could see many small wells, some hastily dug while others were more established with beautifully laid stonework around the edges. But no one had a way to draw out the deep waters within their own wells. Rising higher I saw The Great Well surrounded by the small wells that dotted the pastoral landscape.
When the woman said, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep,” she knew nothing of who was standing before her but considered Him just a thirsty man, ill-equipped and incapable of drawing His own water.
When Yeshua replied that all who drink of the water He gives will never thirst as it’ll “become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life,” the woman expressed a desire for this water mainly so her life would become easier.
While pondering the living water, I asked how can we help those who view G-d as non-existent or worse, impotent, draw it out?
Suddenly I saw ladles being formed from prophetic words and random acts of kindness. Each word or act of love added metal to metal or wood to wood to empty cups with no handles, which then began to miraculously lengthen as they were passed to outstretched arms in desperation.

The well in this photo is from Sokoly, Poland where my Mother’s cousins drew water until they fled in 1938.
