Everlasting Covenant
The King of Kings made an eternal, unending, perpetual, permanent, enduring, interminable, ceaseless, infinite, immortal, timeless, indestructible covenant with the nation of Israel. No wonder the nations rage and devise evil plans. What other nation has been given an eternal covenant by G-d Himself?!
Gen 9:16 – “When the bow is in the cloud, then I will look upon it, to remember the everlasting covenant between G-d and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.”
Gen 17:7 – “I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations fo
r an everlasting covenant, to be G-d to you and to your descendants after you.
Gen 17:13 – “A servant who is born in your house or who is bought with your money shall surely be circumcised; so shall My covenant be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
Gen 17:19 – But G-d said, “No, but Sarah your wife will bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
Lev 24:8 – “Every Shabbat he shall set it in order before the L-rd continually; it is an everlasting covenant for the sons of Israel.
Num 18:19 – “All the offerings of the holy gifts, which the sons of Israel offer to the L-rd, I have given to you and your sons and your daughters with you, as a perpetual allotment. It is an everlasting covenant of salt before the L-rd to you and your descendants with you.”
2Sa 23:5 – “Truly is not my house so with G-d? For He has made an everlasting covenant with me, Ordered in all things, and secured; For all my salvation and all my desire, Will He not indeed make it grow?
1Ch 16:17 – He also confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
Psa 105:10 – Then He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
Isa 24:5 – The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant.
Isa 55:3 – “Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, According to the faithful mercies shown to David.
Isa 61:8 – For I, the L-rd, love justice, I hate robbery in the burnt offering; And I will faithfully give them their recompense And make an everlasting covenant with them.
Jer 32:40 – “I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; and I will put the fear of Me in their hearts so that they will not turn away from Me.
Jer 50:5 – “They will ask for the way to Zion, turning their faces in its direction; they will come that they may join themselves to the L-rd in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.
Eze 16:60 – “However, I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.
Eze 37:26 – “I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will place them and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever.
Let Psalm 2:10-12 serve as a stark warning to those who come against the everlasting covenant that G-d made with Israel.
